The Ford government is:

Amending Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act to make it easier to sell provincial parklands across the province

Ford wants amendments that would see that 60% of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park’s beachfront lands are sold to developers.

Why is this wrong: The PPCRA currently requires that elected MPPs approve any significant removal of provincial park land. This law exists to ensure that the process is transparent and accountable to you.

Ford tried to sell of the Greenbelt in secret. Why should we trust him to not sell off our the land in our provincial parks?

What is worse: Ford is threatening unspecified “legislative amendments” to the Provincial Parks Act itself.

We have time to organize and stop Ford again!
