To the Legislative Assembly of Ontario:
WHEREAS automated speed and noise enforcement is necessary because it is nearly impossible for police officers to respond in time for all complaints about speeding and loud vehicles;
WHEREAS both increased speed and noise can have health impacts ranging from physical trauma from collision to elevated stress, hypertension, heart disease, anxiety, and reduced quality of life resulting from prolonged exposure to unwanted environmental noise.
