The City of Toronto will be holding a Public Open House to review the proposed TOcore Official Plan Amendment materials.
Please join City Planning staff at the upcoming open house on the proposed Official Plan Amendment for the recommended Downtown Plan. The TOcore team will present material on:
- The draft Official Plan Amendment which describes:
- Revisions to Official Plan Section 2.2.1 (Downtown: The Heart of Toronto)
- Revisions to Map 6 and a new Map 6A
- The recommended Downtown Plan; and
- Amendments to existing Secondary Plans and Site and Area Specific Policies located Downtown to ensure that the policies align
- The five infrastructure strategies that will help implement the Downtown Plan, covering community services and facilities, parks and public realm (electronic version coming soon), mobility (electronic version coming soon), energy, and water.
Background reports will also be available, including:
- Planning Downtown: The Outlook for Office & Institutional Employment to 2041
- Building for Liveability Executive Summary
The open house will ensure that the public has an opportunity to review and ask questions about the information and material made available in advance of the presentation of the Official Plan Amendment to the Planning and Growth Management Committee on May 1, 2018.
