This survey is for residents of Toronto to provide feedback on a proposed rating system for apartment buildings that are registered with the City of Toronto under the RentSafeTO: Apartment Building Standards program. RentSafeTO is a bylaw enforcement program that ensures apartment building owners comply with building maintenance standards.
Toronto City Council has asked City staff to develop a rating system for apartment buildings based on the DineSafe rating system for restaurants. DineSafe is Toronto Public Health’s food safety program that inspects all establishments serving and preparing food.
City staff are now seeking feedback on a proposed colour-coded rating system for apartment buildings in Toronto.
