Transportation Services is looking for volunteers for a citizen panel addressing accessibility issues in the City of Toronto's streets, sidewalks, and operations.
The Accessibility Advisory Panel for Transportation Services (AAPTS) comprises Toronto based stakeholders from various disability communities and agencies. Its purpose is to provide objective advice to Transportation Services staff on current accessibility issues, based on user experience in the City's streets, sidewalks, and operations (e.g. signals, construction, seasonal operations, etc.).
Members will share experiences and knowledge, conduct site visits, and make recommendations for review.
If you are interested please submit a brief statement of interest. Submissions will be reviewed by City staff and selected applicants will be invited to interview for membership.
