December 6 is the National Day for Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This year, December 6th also marks the 30th anniversary of the Montreal Massacre, a mass shooting where fourteen women were murdered at an engineering school affiliated with the Université de Montréal.
Join advocates, service providers, community leaders and elected officials to commemorate the women who lost their lives in the Montreal Massacre and recognize the tireless work being done to end gender-based violence.

When: Friday, December 6, 8:30am-10:00am
Reception: 8:30am; Remarks: 9:00am
Where: Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, Members Lounge, Council Chambers
