Update December 17, 2019

The landlord has provided a very brief update for today. There is no update on when tenants are expected to return, but they have reiterated that a meaningful announcement will be made early in the New Year.

For tenants that are experiencing delays in receiving assistance payments, they have asked that concerns and questions regarding ongoing assistance and support should continue to work through the Response Centre. Please also contact our office (councillor_wongtam@toronto.ca) so we know you have not received your regular assistance payment.

Our next update is currently planned for January 3, 2020. Thank you to everyone who came out our December 10 Holiday Party; if you could not make it, we hope we will see you with good news in 2020. Our office will be regularly checking e-mails through December, so please reach out if you require assistance.

Councillor Wong-Tam and her office wish all 650 Parliament Tenants the best during this holiday season.
